Overview
Coming up with the right testing ideas is often the hardest part of conversion optimization. Wingify's Ideas feature helps solve this challenge by centralizing ideation, streamlining campaign creation, and leveraging AI to generate actionable A/B testing suggestions. It not only helps you discover what to test but also enables you to add ideas directly to Wingify Hypothesis and automate campaign creation from an idea, helping you move from insight to execution faster, with less manual effort.
Using Wingify Ideas, you can:
- Break out of creative blocks with AI-generated suggestions based on your website content or testing goals.
- Centralize and organize test ideas in one place for better prioritization and collaboration.
- Quickly convert ideas into hypotheses and A/B tests with minimal effort.
Access the Ideas Dashboard
To get AI-generated ideas for your goals, navigate to the Ideas page in Wingify. You can do that in one of the following two ways:
- On the Wingify dashboard, from the main navigation menu on the left, click Plan > Ideas.
- On the A/B test campaigns dashboard, in the Need optimization ideas? bubble, click Try now. You are auto-navigated to the AI Generated (Early Access) tab. If you have a new Wingify account or have not generated any ideas yet, this tab may appear empty initially. For more information on how to generate ideas, see Get AI-Generated A/B Testing Ideas for Your Pages or Goals. Note: The Early Access label indicates that the feature is still evolving.
Once the Ideas page is populated with ideas, you will see that each idea that Wingify’s AI generates is presented on a card. Click on any card to expand it and view the following details:
- Hypothesis: The underlying assumption of the proposed change.
- Actionable: The specific change to be implemented.

Wingify recommends learning from the Based On principles. Every idea card lists the psychological or CRO principle it's based on (for example, Cognitive Dissonance, Cialdini's Principle of Consistency, Von Restorff Effect). Take a moment to understand why the AI made the suggestion. This validates the idea and builds your expertise in conversion optimization for future manual testing.
For each idea, you can perform the following actions:
- Star: Click the star icon to save an idea you like. You can then filter to see only your starred ideas using the Show only starred checkbox.
- Delete: Click the delete icon to remove an idea from the list.
- Feedback: Use the thumbs-up or thumbs-down icons to let us know if the idea was useful. This will help improve future suggestions.
Your first set of generated ideas is a great starting point. Wingify recommends using them to refine your thinking. Pick a broad idea you like, reformulate it as a more specific goal in the text field at the bottom, and click Generate Idea again to get a more focused list of suggestions.
Actions Supported on the Ideas Dashboard
From the Ideas dashboard, you can:
View and Manage All Ideas
The Ideas dashboard lets you see all your ideas in one place. You can quickly filter and sort them by source, status, or priority, and scan key details like goals and idea types at a glance. Star the ones you use often, and clean up clutter by deleting ideas you no longer need.
Generate AI-Based Ideas
You can scan a URL or use a goal-based approach to get A/B testing ideas. Wingify’s AI analyzes your page content or objectives and suggests high-impact test ideas.

Add Ideas to Wingify Hypotheses
Convert an idea into a structured hypothesis with one click. This helps validate assumptions and prepares the idea for testing.

Launch Campaigns Instantly
Use Wingify’s Copilot to directly launch a test from an idea. The campaign is auto-configured based on the suggestion, saving time and reducing errors.
