Any data corresponding to the visitor of Wingify customer’s website, as part of the campaigns they have been involved in, is categorized as visitor data, which is further classified as follows:
- Events - The actions performed by the visitor during the campaigns. For example, purchasing a product, navigating to a specific page, clicking on a CTA, etc.
- Attributes - The properties of the visitor collected as part of the campaigns. For example, device OS, IP address, geographic location, etc.
Based on these data, Wingify furnishes their performance for the following:
- Session recordings
- Survey data
- Heatmap data
- Test campaign data
- Forms
- Goals and funnels
Note: During data collection, Wingify categorizes all sensitive data and personally identifiable information, such as email addresses and passwords, and anonymizes them.
Wingify stores visitor data in three main data centers, positioned in the US, the European Union (EU), and India. The journey of data flow is quite straightforward and occurs as follows:
- Wingify assigns a default data center during account signup based on the account location.
- If the US data center is assigned, the data belonging to the corresponding visitors is collected, stored, and processed in the US data center.
- In the case of a non-US data center, the data belonging to the corresponding visitors is collected, stored, and processed in the respective data centers.
These data centers process their own visitor data independently and are not connected to each other. As a result, none of these data centers can access the visitor data from the others.
