Exporting your Wingify session recordings can aid you in streamlining your visitor data and using them to analyze further. To get started, you must first create a Send session recording to HubSpot connection in Wingify. Refer to Integrating Wingify With HubSpot for more information.
When creating the connection, choose how you'd like the recording link to behave when shared:
- Secure link (Wingify login required): Only logged-in users can view session recordings. Use this for sensitive or internal data.
- Open link (no login needed): Anyone with the link can view the recording. Best for easier public sharing.
Once the connection is set up, perform the following steps on your HubSpot dashboard to access your Wingify session recordings:
- Go to Contacts > Lists > Create list.
- Enter a name and provide a description of the list in the respective fields.
- Under What kind of list are you creating?, retain the selection as Active list. This automatically updates the list with new recordings.
- Click Next > + Add filter.
- Under Step 1: Select a filter category dropdown, select VWO > VWO: session recording properties, and select an appropriate property to view the corresponding session recording. For example, to view the session recordings of the landing page, select Landing page URL.
- Now, configure the filter to fetch the URL of the landing page. For this, in the first dropdown under the Landing page URL filter, select contains any of, and in the second dropdown, enter “hubspot” and hit Enter. This fetches the list of contacts who were part of the session recordings of the landing page.
- If required, you can add a period to the filter by clicking + Add filter > Occurred and configuring the dates for the period. This filters the list appropriately.
- Click Save list.
- The list populates the contacts. Click on a contact and go to Activities > Activity > Filter activity to select VWO under INTEGRATIONS.
