Using Copilot for Segments and Triggers

Copilot for Segments and Triggers revolutionize your experimentation workflow. These AI-powered tools eliminate the tedious task of manually constructing complex targeting rules.

Simply articulate your desired audience or trigger, and Copilot instantly translates your intent into precise targeting conditions. For instance, describe your target as "Visitors from the United States who have viewed at least one product page.", and Copilot will generate the necessary segments and triggers.

Wingify also provides a Prompt Enhancement feature to help improve the quality of your input. With just one click, you can improve your prompt, whether typed or spoken.

You can also attach files or images to provide additional guidance to Copilot for more accurate results. For example, you want to target countries with the highest coffee consumption. Upload a map showing the relevant data and enter the prompt: “Target the top 5 countries with the highest coffee consumption percentages.” Copilot analyzes the map, extracts the regions based on the prompt, and ensures data-driven targeting for better campaign accuracy.

Consider this scenario: You need to target visitors from Delhi and Mumbai who arrive at your website via a specific OS on weekends. While manually creating this condition would take a considerable amount of time, Copilot can spin it within a few seconds based on your prompt.

You can either use the same or tweak a few aspects by editing or refining it using the prompt enhancement feature. Otherwise, you can save the segment for current and future use.

How to Use Copilot for Segments and Triggers?

In the segmentation or trigger box:

1. Select Copilot.
2. The Copilot section displays several pre-generated suggestions. You can select one that suits your needs or generate one afresh.
3. To enter a customized description, in the text field, describe the audience you want to track. Be specific for better results. You can provide instructions by typing them or using the mic icon to record. Once you stop recording, Copilot transcribes your input and converts it into text. You must enter an optimum prompt to get optimal results.
   Writing the perfect prompt can be a challenge. To help improve the quality of your input, Copilot provides a Prompt Enhancement feature. With just one click, you can improve your prompt, whether typed or spoken. It refines the prompt and elevates the quality of your inputs automatically. This feature helps you:
   • Save time by turning rough ideas into clear, actionable prompts.
   • Adjust the prompt’s tone and creativity to match your use case.
   • Get inspired by seeing how your input can be transformed in different ways to suit different tasks and goals.
     
     To use the prompt enhancement feature, after entering your prompt, click the wand icon . The system generates three refined versions of it. Each version varies in its level of creativity, ranging from clear and concise to creative and expressive. Review the suggestions, select the version that best fits your intent, and click Apply Prompt. The selected prompt replaces your original prompt instantly.

4. Upload supporting files to give Copilot additional context and generate more accurate results. Click the attach icon to upload multiple files simultaneously or one at a time. You can upload files with data points or paste screenshots/images for visual guidance. Copilot analyzes the data, identifies patterns or instructions, and generates results accordingly.

   Note:

   • You can upload a maximum of 4 files.
   • Supported file types for attachments include .csv, .txt, .png, .jpg, .jpeg, .pdf among others.
   • The total size of all attachments collectively must not exceed 20MB.
5. Click Generate. Copilot generates the segment or the trigger correspondingly.
6. If the results are not satisfactory, try regenerating with a clearer prompt.
7. To make any changes, click Edit.
8. To use the segment/ trigger, click Save Segment / Save Trigger.

Use Cases

Besides automating the typical workflow of creating segments and triggers, Copilot can also apply some general knowledge to generate the same.

Example 1: You want to launch a marketing campaign to target the top 3 countries with the highest number of shopping malls. Instead of manually researching, you can upload a file showing statistics for the same. Copilot analyzes the attached file, identifies the top 3 countries, and generates the targeting area.

Example 2: Try checking out the visitors who arrive from the most popular operating systems.

Example 3: Examine the behaviour of the visitors located in countries with the highest coffee consumption rate.

Example 4: Try asking for visitors who use full HD and 4K screens.
