Integrate Wingify with Acquia DAM

Overview

Acquia DAM, offered by Acquia, is a digital asset management platform designed to streamline the management of digital assets such as images, videos, and documents. It provides centralized storage and collaborative tools for teams to organize, share, and repurpose digital assets effectively, enhancing workflow productivity and brand consistency. Integrating your Wingify account with Acquia DAM will enable you to access the images and videos to be used in the Visual Editor while creating variations.

Note: This integration is available for Pro and Enterprise plans.

Create an Acquia DAM Connection in Wingify

To create an Acquia DAM connection in your Wingify account:

1. Log in to your Wingify account.
2. From the left panel, navigate to Configurations > Integrations.
3. Click the Acquia DAM integration tile and then click Create Connection.
4. In the Create Connection panel, enter a name in the Connection Name field.
5. Enter your Acquia DAM URL in the Acquia DAM URL field.
6. Click Create Connection.

Once created, the connection appears under Config > Active Connections.

Use Images From Acquia DAM in Wingify

While editing an image on your web page using the Wingify Visual Editor, you can easily import the images from your Acquia DAM account by performing the following steps:

1. Click on the image that you want to be replaced on your web page.
2. In the editor menu that appears, select Change Image.
3. In the Change Image popup that appears, click on the Acquia DAM tab.
4. Click on Log in to Acquia. In the login popup that appears, enter your Acquia DAM credentials to log into your account.
5. In the authorization confirmation popup, click Allow to authorize Wingify to fetch the images from your Acquia DAM account. 

Now, you can browse the images that you have in your Acquia DAM account and select the one that you require.

6. Upon selecting an image, the preview appears on the right, where you can find the following details:
   • URL - The URL of the image from where it is sourced.
   • Title - The name of the image.
   • Alt text - The name that appears on the image when hovered over.
   • Size - Size of the image in pixels.
   • Border - Border size of the image in pixels.
7. After confirming the image details, click Done.
