Overview
The Campaigns Overview dashboard is a central hub for managing and monitoring all test campaigns and optimization activities within your Wingify account. It provides a high-level view of your campaigns' status, key metrics, documented learnings across campaigns, campaign timelines, and performance across all your workspaces, helping you make informed decisions quickly.
The Campaigns Overview dashboard benefits various roles within a team focused on digital experience optimization. Here's how different personas can leverage its power:
- For Optimization Managers: Get a daily snapshot of all running, paused, and recently concluded tests to track overall program velocity and health.
- For Product Teams: Monitor the performance of feature rollout tests across different workspaces to ensure consistent tracking and results.
- For Marketers: Quickly identify underperforming campaigns that need attention or find concluded campaigns with winning variations ready for deployment.
- For Program Managers: Visualize the overlapping durations of multiple campaigns and manage testing schedules across different workspaces.
- For all stakeholders: Enable teams (product, design, marketing) to align on past learnings and avoid repeating unsuccessful tests.
Navigate the Campaigns Overview Dashboard
The Campaigns Overview dashboard is accessible from the top navigation bar. Click Campaigns Overview to open it. By default, the dashboard opens in the Table view.
Dashboard Layout
The dashboard is organized into three main areas:
- Campaign Summary
- Filters and Search
- Campaign Details
- Table view: The default view for analyzing specific performance metrics, campaign status, and variation data.
- Timeline view: A Gantt-chart style layout for visualizing campaign durations, overlaps, and testing roadmaps.
Tip: Use the Table / Timeline toggle to switch between the two views. The underlying campaign data is the same. These views present data it differently to help you analyze metrics or visualize scheduling.
View Campaign Summary
At the top of the page, three key metrics summarize your campaign landscape within the selected date range.
- Campaigns: The total number of campaigns active within the selected time frame.
- With Decision: The total number of completed campaigns where the variation results are determined.
- Pending Decision: The number of running or paused campaigns that have not yet reached a conclusive outcome.
Example: If the dashboard shows 4 Campaigns, 0 With Decision, and 4 Pending Decision, all four active campaigns are still running, and no final call has been made on any of them.
View Campaign Details
Table View
The Table view is the default view and lists all the campaign details, with each column offering specific insights into their performance and status.
The following table defines each campaign detail:

| Campaigns | Displays the unique campaign ID and name. The icon to the left of the ID indicates the campaign type (for example, A/B Test, Split URL Test). Clicking a campaign takes you to the respective campaign. If it belongs to another workspace, you are prompted to switch the workspace. You can easily track and filter all active campaigns based on their type directly from the dashboard. | Primary Metric | Shows the primary metric for which the campaign is optimized, such as Register Clicks or Form Submissions |
| Decision | Indicates if a final decision is made for the campaign. A hyphen (-) typically means no decision is recorded yet. |
| Leading Variation | Shows the variation that is currently outperforming the others. If a campaign has a clear leader, its name (for example, Variation 1) appears here. This does not necessarily mean it has reached statistical significance. |
| Expected Improvement | Displays the percentage of improvement the leading variation has over the control for the primary metric. |
| Status | Shows the current state of the campaign. Statuses include Running (currently active) and Paused. |
| Started On | The date the campaign was first launched. |
| Paused On | The date the campaign was last paused. This column will be empty if the campaign has never been paused. |
| Created On | Shows the date when the campaign was created. This helps you track the timeline of your experiments and identify when a campaign was added to your account. |
| Created By | Indicates the user who created the campaign. This is useful for collaboration, as it helps you identify the campaign owner for follow-ups, updates, or clarifications. |
| Labels | Displays the tags associated with a campaign. Labels help you organize and categorize campaigns based on criteria such as campaign type, audience, goal, or internal naming conventions. You can use labels to quickly filter and locate specific campaigns in the dashboard. |
| Impact | Displays the overall qualitative assessment of the campaign result (Positive, Neutral, Negative, Inconclusive). |
| Outcome | Describes how the result compares to expectations (Expected, Surprising, Undefined, No impact, Push further, or Biased). |
| Learning note | Shows a preview of the documented insight. You can click View learnings to see full details. For more information on capturing learnings and documenting learnings, see Document Campaign Learnings in Wingify. |
| Workspace Name | The name and ID of the workspace to which the campaign belongs. Workspaces help organize campaigns, often by team, project, or website section. |
Timeline View
Click the Timeline tab to switch from the table to a Gantt-chart style view. The Timeline view provides a visualization of your experimentation roadmap, the active duration of each campaign, a quick overview of how your campaigns overlap in time, and a way to plan your testing roadmap.
Interpret the Timeline View
- Each campaign is shown as a horizontal bar. The length of the bar represents the campaign's active duration.
- Green bars represent campaigns that are currently running.
- Purple bars represent campaigns that are paused, ended, or not running.
Change the Time Scale
By default, the timeline displays campaigns grouped by day. Use the Day / Week toggle at the top right of the timeline to switch between the following views:
- Week view: Shows a broader time range, useful for spotting overlaps across multiple campaigns running over weeks or months.
- Day view: Zooms in to show individual dates, useful for examining the exact start and end points of shorter campaigns.
Access Campaign Details
Hovering over a campaign bar displays a summary tooltip with the following details:
- Campaign info: Includes the campaign name, type, ID, and workspace name.
- Performance: Includes the primary metric, decision status, leading variation, and expected improvement.
- Timeline: Includes timestamps for when the campaign was created, started, and paused. It also includes the campaign’s total duration (in days).
- Ownership: Includes details about the campaign creator and labels associated with the campaign
Tip: If campaign bars are not appearing in the Timeline view, check your date range. If the selected range does not overlap with a campaign's active period, its bar will not be visible.
Filter and Search Campaigns The dashboard provides a date range selector and a search bar to help you quickly find specific campaigns.
- Date range selector By default, the dashboard shows campaigns from the past 30 days. To change this, click the date range selector and choose a custom range. The campaign list and summary metrics will update to reflect campaigns created or active during that period.
- Search bar Use the search bar to find a campaign by name or ID.
- Column filters Filter your campaigns by using the filter icon next to a column header. You can apply filters to narrow your results by:
- Status: show only Running, Paused, Analysis, or Ended campaigns
- Campaign type: filter the data for specific campaign types
- Primary Metric: narrow down the results by specific metrics being tracked
- Workspace Name: view campaigns belonging to a specific workspace
- Download CSV Click Download CSV to export the current filtered table view as a spreadsheet for offline review or sharing.
Troubleshooting

| I can't find my campaign. | Check the Date Range Filter. Your campaign might be outside the selected time frame. Clear any active Column Filters hiding the campaign you are looking for. Verify that you are in the correct Wingify Account using the account switcher in the top-right corner. |
| The data seems incorrect. | The data on this dashboard is a summary. For the most detailed, real-time metrics, click on the campaign to view its dedicated report. |
| View learnings option is not available. | Ensure the campaign supports Learnings. This feature is available only for A/B, Split URL, and Personalize campaigns. |
Best Practices
To get the most out of the Campaigns Overview dashboard:
- Use a consistent naming convention: Naming your campaigns clearly (for example, Homepage-CTA-Button-Test) makes them much easier to find and manage using the search bar.
- Review paused campaigns regularly: Use the Status filter to periodically check paused campaigns and decide whether they should be archived, restarted, or redesigned.
- Review the campaign learnings regularly: Identify patterns across campaigns and avoid repeating unsuccessful experiments.
FAQs
- What is the difference between a Leading Variation and a campaign 'With Decision'? A Leading Variation is the variation that is currently performing the best for the primary metric, but it may not have reached statistical significance yet. A campaign With Decision means Wingify has declared a conclusion, signifying that the test has officially ended and a winner (or loser) has been confirmed.

What does a hyphen (-) mean in the campaign table? A hyphen indicates that there is no data to display for that specific field. For example:
- Under Leading Variation, it means no single variation is currently outperforming the others.
- Under Paused On, it means the campaign is either running or has never been paused.
- Under Decision, it means no final decision has been recorded for that campaign yet.
- Is the data on this dashboard updated in real-time? The Campaigns Overview dashboard provides a high-level summary and is designed to monitor overall status and trends. While it is regularly updated, you should click an individual campaign to view the most detailed, up-to-the-second metrics in its dedicated, real-time report.
- Can I see performance for metrics other than the Primary Metric on this dashboard? No, this dashboard is designed to give you a quick overview of how your campaigns perform against their single most important goal - the Primary Metric. To analyze performance against secondary metrics, navigate to the detailed report for that campaign.
