Get Started with Wingz Chat

Overview

This article explains how you can use Wingz Chat, your in-platform AI assistant, to instantly explore and analyze your campaign data without manually navigating through multiple reports.

Wingz Chat serves as an intelligent interface between you and your experimentation data. It enables you to:

• Deep-dive into campaign performance instantly
• Generate data-backed experiment ideas
• Compare results across campaigns
• Access detailed insights in seconds
• Identify next steps without switching dashboards

Beyond insights, Wingz Chat also supports you during the campaign setup phase. It can audit campaigns in draft state, review their configurations, highlight potential gaps, and summarize the setup of a single campaign or even multiple campaigns at once.

For example, you can ask Wingz Chat: Show me the summary for #<campaign name>. This query returns an overall summary of the campaign, including variation details, traffic split, hypothesis, primary and secondary metrics, links to current reports, and more.

  Note: You must enable GA4 integration for the GA4-related queries to work. To enable GA4 integration:

  1. Go to Configurations > Integrations from the left navigation of your dashboard.
  2. Select GA4 from the list of integrations.
  3. Navigate to the Config tab.
  4. Toggle on the GA4 integration from the top right and connect your Google Analytics 4 (GA4) account.

• Upload Attachments for Deeper Insights and Hypotheses - Based on the attached screenshots, suggest three new hypotheses for my homepage hero section.
  This query analyzes attached image files, such as competitor designs, UI mockups, or best-practice references, to generate actionable A/B test hypotheses and accelerate your ideation process.

  You can also upload campaign documents, such as PRDs, project briefs, or research findings, as PDFs. This enables Wingz Chat to analyze your results against specific business objectives, providing insights that extend beyond the numbers.

Access Wingz Chat

You can access Wingz Chat from the following locations:

• Wingify Dashboard: From the left navigation menu of the dashboard, after you log in to your Wingify account.
• Main campaign list: At the top of the campaign list.
• Individual campaign cards: Within the individual list view for campaigns in a particular state, such as Running or Paused.
• Campaign Reports: Inside the detailed report view of any campaign.

To access Wingz Chat from the dashboard:

1. Log in to your Wingify account. From the left navigation menu, go to Wingz > Chat. The dashboard appears, displaying the Wingz Chat.
2. Use the Wingz Chat input box to ask anything related to your campaign. Ensure you type the “#” key to select a specific campaign. Alternatively, to provide voice instructions, click the microphone icon and record your input.
3. After entering your query, click the Send Message button.

Wingz Chat maintains a chat history. You can view and scroll through your past chats within the interface. This allows you to restart the conversation where you left off.

Audit a Draft Campaign

You can use Wingz Chat to verify if your experiment is ready for launch. Run the verification by completing the following steps:

1. Log in to your Wingify account.
2. Go to Experimentation > Web Experimentation and select any campaign type.
3. Filter out campaigns in the Draft state.
4. From the list of campaigns, find your draft campaign.

5. Click Review with Wingz. Wingz Chat pens and automatically initiates a quality assurance review. It audits campaign configurations, including metrics, target audience traffic split, and goals, to determine whether the campaign is ready to go live. 

   Once the quality assurance review is complete, the results appear in a pop-up on the right. You can further prompt Wingz Chat to drill down into the variation implementation or other campaign details.

Summarize a Running or Paused Campaign

You can generate a quick summary of campaigns that are in the Paused or Running state.

1. From the campaign listing page, locate a campaign, for example, one that is currently in the Paused state.
2. Hover over the campaign you want to deep-dive into, and click the Ask Wingz option available adjacent to the campaign name.

Wingz Chat generates a comprehensive summary. This summary typically includes the date range, total variations, unique visitors, expected conversion rates, and improvement percentages.

Summarize Multiple Campaigns

1. On the campaign listing page, use the Status filters on the right to select the campaigns you want to analyze, such as all Running campaigns.
2. Click Summarize at the top of the campaign list. Wingz Chat provides an aggregate summary of all filtered campaigns, allowing you to see high-level performance across your entire testing program. 

Best Practices

Follow these best practices to ensure accurate and meaningful results when querying Wingz Chat.

• Be Specific in Queries - Precise prompts yield more accurate, valuable responses.
  • Example - Instead of asking, Show me results, ask, Compare desktop vs. mobile performance for the homepage CTA campaign. 
     
• Leverage Campaign Autocomplete (#) - Type # to quickly select campaign names instead of typing them manually. This helps avoid errors and ensures AI is analyzing the exact campaign.
  • Example: To utilize the '#' in a prompt, use the following format:
  • Give me a summary of # <select the campaign ID from Wingz Chat dropdown>
     
• Explore Segment Comparisons - Start by providing broader queries, then narrow down.
  • Example: Compare desktop vs. mobile → Follow with Now break this down by new vs. returning visitors prompt. 
     
• Ask for Recommendations - Do not just use Wingz Chat for numbers. Ask What’s next?
  • Example: Based on this campaign’s results, what new tests should I run?. You will get experiment ideas that can be pushed to Wingz Chat.

• Can I use Wingz Chat in multiple languages? 
  Yes. Wingz Chat supports 30+ languages, including Dutch, Spanish, and Japanese. It automatically responds in the language configured in your Wingify account.
  You can also ask Wingz Chat to reply in any preferred language within the chat, regardless of your account language settings.
   
• Can Wingz Chat generate experiment ideas? 
  Yes. Wingz Chat can suggest new experiment ideas based on your campaigns, user behavior, and goals. You can also push ideas directly into Wingz Chat to create experiments faster by providing all the campaign details, such as the test type, changes to variation, target audience, traffic split, and more, within the prompt.
   
• Do I need to connect GA4 to use Wingz Chat?
  No, GA4 integration is optional. Without GA4, Wingz Chat works with your Wingify testing data. With GA4 (OAuth advanced config enabled), you can also query GA4 metrics inside chat.
   
• Which integrations are available with Wingz Chat?
  Currently, Wingz Chat supports integration exclusively with Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
