Clone a Campaign in Wingify

Using the Clone option in Wingify, you can duplicate your campaign (test). You can use the option when you want to make minimum changes to an existing test and run the test again. Or you can also clone a test if you want to remove a variation from a running test and want to start the test again.

Each cloned test will have a new test ID, and new cookies are created again for all the visitors.

To clone a campaign:

1. Log in to your Wingify account
2. Click Clone using either of the following:
   1. From the campaigns listing page: Navigate to the campaign listing dashboard, hover over the campaign in the list, click the More options ⋮ icon, and select Clone.
   2. From inside the campaign: Navigate to the campaign. Click the Clone icon at the top-right corner of the campaign dashboard.
3. In the Clone Campaign dialog:

   1. From the Clone campaign <campaign name> from type <campaign type> to dropdown, select the target campaign type you want to clone to. Depending on the source campaign's structure and the target type you select, additional fields may appear:

      Note: Cross-type cloning isn't supported for Surveys, Funnels, Forms, MVT, and Split URL campaigns. For example, you can only clone an MVT campaign into another MVT campaign and a Split URL campaign into another Split URL campaign.

      1. Select Page Group: If the source campaign has multiple page groups, choose which page group to clone.

         Note: This option is available when cloning any multi-page campaign to a single-page campaign.
      2. Select the variation(s) to clone: If you are cloning to a Web Rollout  or Personalize campaign, choose which variation(s) from the source campaign becomes the Web Rollout or Personalize experience(s).

      3. Select Experiences: If you're cloning a Personalization campaign to an A/B campaign (or a similar cross-type target), choose which experience(s) to include in the clone.

         Note: This option is available if:

         • The source campaign is A/B, and the target campaign is Personalize or Web Rollout.
         • The source campaign is Personalize, and the target campaign is A/B or Web Rollout.
4. From the Clone from account <account name> to dropdown, select the account you want to clone the campaign to.
5. Enter a name for the cloned campaign. By default, it is set to the original campaign name with (Cloned) appended.
6. Click Clone.

Once the test is cloned, you can modify the duplicated test per your requirements.
