Note: Your credit allocation depends on your plan.
- Wandz Core includes a free monthly allocation with every paid subscription.
- Wandz Advanced, a paid upgrade, offers a higher allocation. The Credit Pack and Enterprise Data Control add-ons are available only to Wandz Advanced accounts and must be activated through your Wingify Account Manager.

Overview
Wandz is Wingify's set of AI features, designed to work across Wingify's product suite, including Web Experimentation, Personalize, Insights, and other Wingify products, rather than being tied to a single one.
Wandz is accessible from multiple places in your Wingify account, including the dashboard, header, and left navigation. For a full overview of what Wandz can do, see Wandz.
Every AI-powered action in Wandz, such as generating hypotheses, summarizing campaigns, analyzing heatmaps, creating variations in the Visual Editor, or connecting to external tools, uses Wandz Credits. Wandz Credits are Wingify's unit for measuring AI computational effort.
Access and Manage Wandz Credit Usage
To check your credit usage, click the Account Usage Activity icon in the header, which is available from any page in your account. Alternatively, go to Profile > Settings > Subscription & Invoices > Wandz.
Here you can see:
- Plan status (for example, Core).
- Active add-ons.
- Used credits, your total allocation, and when they expire.
-
Total AI Credits usage and Workspace AI Credits usage tabs, where you can:
- Toggle Show cumulative on or off to switch between cumulative and non-cumulative views.
- Select Daily or Monthly to view usage by day or by month.
- Select the date range field to pick a custom range.
- Select Export CSV to open the export menu and choose one of the following:
- Workspace credits: Download cumulative AI credit usage data.
- Detailed credits usage: Download detailed AI credit usage including conversation, MCP, and workflow details.
- Use the Search Workspace field (Workspace tab only) to find usage for a specific workspace.
- Select View consumptions near Access historical AI credits consumption by billing cycle to check usage from past billing cycles.
- Scroll to the Active Add-ons section to view your add-ons, along with their start and expiry dates.
This usage view shows total consumption per day/month and per workspace. It does not currently break usage down by individual action. All workspaces share a single, account-wide credit pool. The breakdown shows how the shared credits are used across workspaces, not separate credit allocations for each workspace.
Activation, Plans, Billing, and Renewal
This section explains how Wandz is activated, the available plans, credit allocations, billing, and add-ons.
Activation
- Wandz Core is automatically enabled for all paid Wingify accounts.
- Wandz Advanced, Credit Packs, and the Enterprise Data Control add-on are activated on request through your Wingify Account Manager.
Plans and Credit Allocations
Wandz is available in two plans, with different credit allocations to suit your usage requirements:
- Wandz Core: Included with all paid Wingify plans (Growth, Pro, and Enterprise) at no additional cost. Includes 2,500 credits per month. Credits reset every month and cannot be purchased as a standalone offering.
- Wandz Advanced: A paid upgrade that includes either 8,000 or 15,000 credits per month, based on your usage needs.
Add-ons (Available with Wandz Advanced Only)
Wandz Advanced offers the following add-ons:
- Credit Pack: Adds 5,000 credits to your monthly credit allocation. Available on either the 8,000 or 15,000-credit Wandz Advanced tier, without requiring a plan change.
- Enterprise Data Control: Available as a separate add-on for Wandz Advanced accounts. Unlike the Credit Pack, this add-on doesn't add credits and only provides enterprise-grade data controls including Bring Your Own Model (BYOM), which lets Wandz run on your organization's own private LLM deployment, and LLM Data Residency, which restricts Wandz's AI processing to a specific region (US or EU).
For more information on all the Wandz plans and pricing, refer to Plans and Pricing.
Billing and Renewal
Credits are renewed according to your account's billing cycle. Since credits are included with your subscription, they do not have a separate renewal cycle.
For multi-month or annual Advanced subscriptions, Wingify provides the full credit allocation upfront for the entire subscription term rather than distributing it monthly.
For example, an annual subscription on the 8,000-credit tier receives 8,000 × 12 credits at the beginning of the subscription term to accommodate fluctuating monthly usage. The same upfront credit allocation is issued again when the subscription renews.
Understand Credit Costs and Deductions
Credits are deducted each time you use a Wandz feature. Since the cost depends on the complexity of the input and output, Wandz doesn't display an estimated cost before a task runs.
You can use the following table as a guideline to plan your usage:

| Reporting & Export | Export chat analysis to CSV or Markdown | 150 |
| General Chat & Advisory | General CRO or product question without data retrieval | 20 |
Recurring and Batch Tasks
Credits are deducted each time a recurring or batch task runs. They are not charged as a one-time cost when you configure the task.
For example, if you configure a workflow to summarize heatmaps every week, approximately 70–100 credits are deducted each time the workflow runs.
For more information on workflows and credits, see Explore Wandz Workflow Templates.
Credits Used Through Wingify MCP
When you access Wandz through an external AI service, such as ChatGPT or Claude (using the Wingify MCP integration):
- Wingify charges Wandz Credits only for retrieving data from its servers.
- The external AI service handles the AI processing, so Wingify does not charge credits for model input or output processing.
- These MCP-based requests use the same credit pool as native Wandz features, but typically consume fewer credits because only data retrieval is charged.
The following table shows the approximate credit consumption for individual tools used through MCP:

Know What Happens When Credits Run Out
When you exhaust your available credits and do not purchase additional credits or upgrade your plan, access to Wandz features is paused. Wingify prompts you to either purchase a Credit Pack or upgrade your plan.
No data is lost while access to Wandz features is paused. If you later purchase additional credits or upgrade your plan, your previously generated chats and results remain accessible, even if there was a delay before the purchase.
Data is deleted only if you explicitly cancel all subscriptions or delete your Wingify account.
Best Practices
- Use Wandz for hypothesis generation, bulk analysis, or creating new variations, as these use cases typically consume fewer credits than full campaign creation. Reserve full campaign creation for when you need Wandz to generate an end-to-end campaign.
- Consider the credit estimates outlined in the Understand Credit Costs and Deductions section as guidelines since actual credit consumption varies based on the complexity of the use case and the generated output.
- Monitor your monthly credit usage regularly. If you consistently exceed your plan's allocation, consider purchasing a Credit Pack.
- For small, well-defined changes, consider making the edits manually instead of using Wandz to optimize credit usage.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Possible Cause | Resolution |
| Wandz features are locked. | Your account may be on a free or expired Wingify plan. | Verify that your account has an active paid Wingify subscription. |
| Wandz features are inaccessible or unresponsive. | Your account may have run out of credits. | Add credits or upgrade your plan. |
| Unable to access Wandz Advanced features or purchase Credit Packs. | Wandz Advanced, Credit Packs, and Enterprise Data Control are not self-serve — they require activation through your Wingify Account Manager. | Contact your Wingify Account Manager to purchase or enable Wandz Advanced, Credit Packs, or Enterprise Data Control add-ons. |
| Credits are exhausted sooner than expected. | Higher-complexity use cases (such as full campaign creation or batch processing) consume significantly more credits than lighter use cases (such as hypothesis generation or heatmap analysis). |
Check your credit usage under Settings > Subscription & Invoices > Wandz, or from the Account Usage Activity icon Refer to Understand Credit Costs and Deductions for approximate costs by use case. |
FAQs
-
Do unused credits roll over at the end of the billing cycle?
It depends on your plan:
- Wandz Core: Unused monthly credits do not roll over. They are reset at the start of each billing cycle.
- Wandz Advanced: Credits are allocated for the entire subscription term upfront, so you can use them at any time during the term rather than on a strict monthly reset.
-
Do Wandz AI Credits expire?
Yes. Your account's credit dashboard shows an expiry date tied to your current term, along with how much you've used so far.
-
Do multiple workspaces under one account share the same credit pool, or does each workspace get its own allocation?
Workspaces share a single account-wide credit pool. The usage dashboard shows a total consumption figure alongside a breakdown by workspace. This shows how the shared pool is being used and does not represent separate, independent allocations per workspace.
