Overview
Brand guidelines in Wingify allow organizations to centralize, manage, and enforce their visual brand identity across all digital experiences created within the platform. By defining core brand elements such as brand colors, typography, button styles, logo assets, and voice guidelines, teams ensure consistent brand presentation across experiments, web campaigns, mobile apps, and feature rollouts.
In large organizations or fast-paced marketing and product teams, multiple team members frequently build variations, landing pages, and widgets. Without a centralized brand system, these assets can use off-brand color usage, inconsistent typography, or mismatched button stylings, leading to fragmented customer experiences and increased review cycles. Brand guidelines solve this problem by establishing a single source of truth within Wingify, embedding brand assets and styling rules directly into Wingify's AI assistant - Wingz Chat
Real-world scenario: Consider an e-commerce company, BrightShop, preparing a seasonal promotional campaign across web and mobile platforms. Their brand identity specifies an exact primary hex color (#0052FF), custom brand fonts, and specific primary button styling with 4px border radius. Instead of requiring developers and designers to manually supply CSS or HEX codes to every campaign creator, the Wingify account admin configures BrightShop's brand guidelines once at the account level. When marketers build new pop-ups or test variation designs in Wingify Visual Editor, BrightShop's pre-approved color palette and font choices appear automatically, eliminating off-brand variations and speeding up campaign setup.
Key benefits include:
- Brand Consistency: Guarantees that every variation, pop-up, widget, and mobile view aligns strictly with corporate brand standards.
- Faster Campaign Creation: Accelerates element/style changes in variations as Wingz, Wingify's AI assistant adheres to brand colors, fonts, and assets defined in the guideline file.
- Reduced Review Cycles: Eliminates manual design checks and back-and-forth approval loops caused by off-brand styling.
Prerequisites
- You must have an Admin role in Wingify to configure or edit account-level Brand guidelines. For more information, see Roles in Wingify.

Manage Brand Guidelines Across Domains
Based on the nature of your business requirement, you can manage the brand guidelines as follows:
- Separate guidelines per domain: If your account has multiple domains, upload a separate guideline for each to maintain consistency.
- Default guideline: To use one common guideline across several domains, set it as the default for those domains (as explained in the Configure Brand Guidelines in Wingify).
Best Practices
When you upload a brand guideline, follow these best practices:
- Use essential colors: In your brand guideline file, keep your defined brand color palette focused (ideally 5–8 core colors).
- Use Descriptive Names for Color Tokens: Name colors by their purpose (for example, Primary CTA or Error Red) rather than generic terms like Blue 1. Functional names tell Wingz exactly where each color belongs.
- Audit guidelines periodically: Review published brand guidelines quarterly or whenever your company updates its corporate brand identity to prevent deprecated brand assets from being used.
