Integrating Wingify With BlueConic

The BlueConic customer data platform harnesses the data required to power individuals' recognition at each interaction and then synchronize their intent across the marketing ecosystem. Integrating Wingify with BlueConic allows you to share BlueConic segmentation information with Wingify.

Configuring the Wingify connection requires settings both on the BlueConic side and the Wingify side, as explained below.

Configuring the BlueConic connection

Configuration takes the following options:

Cookie name

Enter the cookie's name in which BlueConic will keep track of which segments the visitor belongs to. This allows you to have connections with different cookie names for different Wingify experiments.

Segments

Select the BlueConic segments that you want to share with Wingify. BlueConic will keep track of which segments in this list the visitor belongs to and update the value of a cookie accordingly

Wingify experiments

Enter the campaign ID (without "#") that can be inspected in Wingify in Campaign > Review > Other Information at the bottom of the page:

Configure Wingify

To configure the Wingify side of the connection:

1. Log in to your Wingify account.
2. Create a campaign of your choice.
3. Go to Configurations > Targeting. 
4. Under Segments, click the pencil icon next to All Traffic.
5. Click Custom Segment.
6. From the where dropdown, select Cookie Value and enter the name of the cookie that BlueConic sets: bcVWOCookie.
7. From the second dropdown, select the filter Contains and enter the name of the segment that you want to filter on.
