Overview
Custom Views allow you to save a configuration of the campaign listing page as a view. Each view saves your filters, sorting, column order, column settings, grouping, and display mode (Table view or Card view), so you do not need to reapply them each time you open the page.
By default, Wingify provides the All Campaigns view, which displays all campaigns without any applied filters or customized table settings.
Info: Custom Views are available on the listing pages of the following products:
- Web Experimentation, Web Rollout, and Web Personalization
- Feature Flags, Feature Rollout, Feature Experimentation, Feature Multivariate, and Feature Personalization
- Surveys
Key Benefits
- Save Time: Quickly access frequently used filters and layouts without manually reconfiguring them.
- Personalized Views: Save combinations of filters, columns, and sorting options tailored to your daily tasks.
- User-Level Scope: Keep your views specific to your account without affecting other team members' workspace views.
For example, a Quality Assurance (QA) manager who routinely monitors campaigns undergoing testing can configure status filters and column ordering, save the configuration as QA View, and set it as their default landing page.
Similarly, a product manager who reviews live campaigns regularly can filter campaigns by the Running status, sort them by Created On, and save the configuration as Live Campaigns.
As another example, a marketing analyst who regularly presents campaign summaries to stakeholders can create a Card view, filter by the Paused status, and save the configuration as Weekly Review.
Configuration and Setup
You can create a view by changing the campaign listing and saving the result.
Create a View
To save your current layout as a new view:
- Log in to your Wingify account.
- From the left navigation panel, go to the product you want, and then open its listing page.
- Apply the filters, sorting, column order, grouping, or column settings you want.
- Select Save as New View at the right end of the filter bar.
- In the Save as New View dialog, enter a name in the Name field, for example, Status, and then select Create View.
A confirmation message appears, and the new view appears as a tab next to All Campaigns. Select the tab to open the view.
Update a View
To update an existing view:
- Select the view tab, and then change the filters, sorting, column order, grouping, or column settings.
- Select Save View.
A confirmation message appears, and the view retains the updated configuration.
To revert unsaved changes, select the dropdown arrow next to Save View, and then select Discard Changes.
Create a View in Table or Card Display Mode
Every view uses a display mode. Table view shows campaigns in rows and columns, while Card view shows them as cards. A view created with Save as New View uses the Table view.
To create a view in a specific display mode:
- Select the Add
icon at the right end of the view tabs to open the Add View menu.
- Choose Table View or Card View.
- In the new tab, enter a name for the view, and then press Enter.
- Apply the filters, sorting, column order, grouping, or column settings you want.
- Select Save View.
The new view appears as a tab next to the existing tabs, and the campaigns display in the display mode you chose.
Access and Use Custom Views
To access Custom Views, open the listing page of any supported product. Views appear as tabs at the top of the campaign listing page.
For more information about the campaign listing page, see Monitor and Manage Campaigns from the Campaign Listing Page.
To manage a view, select the More Options icon next to its name, and then select an option:
- Rename: Enter the new name and save it.
- Duplicate: Creates a copy of the view with (copy) added to the name.
-
Set as default: The campaign listing page opens on this view, and a pin
icon appears on its tab.
- Remove as default: Removes the default status of this view. The campaign listing page opens on All Campaigns.
- Delete: Deletes the view and its saved configuration. The campaigns remain unaffected.
Best Practices
- Give each view a short, descriptive name, such as Running Campaigns or QA, so you can identify it easily.
- Set your most-used view as the default to skip the filter step each time you open the page.
- Duplicate an existing view instead of building a similar one from scratch.
FAQs
-
Can other users in my workspace see my views?
No. Views are saved at the user level. If four users are added to a workspace, each user has a different set of views.
-
Is there a limit to the number of views I can create?
No. You can create as many views as you need. If the tabs exceed the page width, slide the tab bar to view the remaining views.
-
How are Custom Views different from the existing filters?
Filters you apply on the All Campaigns view are not saved. You must apply them again each time you open the page. A view saves the filters together with sorting, column order, column settings, grouping, and display mode, and applies the saved configuration when you select the view.
