In Wingify, you can configure the following campaign settings by clicking the gear icon ⚙ on the top right and going to the Campaign section:
Configure Custom Visitor Identifiers
Using the Visitor Identifier setting, you can define how visitors are uniquely identified across all campaigns. By default, Wingify assigns a UUID to each visitor, which is browser-specific. However, you can configure custom identifiers (such as a user ID from your system) to ensure consistent tracking across sessions and devices.
You can also add multiple identifiers and set their priority. Wingify evaluates these identifiers in the defined order to resolve the visitor identity. Additionally, you have the option to override existing identifiers for returning users if the identifier value changes.
For more information on how to configure and use custom visitor identifiers, see Configure Custom Visitor Identifiers.
Create mutually exclusive groups
Using the Mutually Exclusive Groups option in Wingify, you can group multiple tests together that are mutually exclusive. By ensuring visitors do not overlap multiple tests, you can ensure that the same visitor does not see the unrelated test variations. This eliminates the interaction effects that multiple tests could have with each other. Improvements in conversion rate can be attributed to the right test and remove bias. To learn about configuring the mutually exclusive campaign groups in Wingify, refer to How to Set Up Mutually Exclusive Campaign Groups in Wingify?.
1 visitor 1 campaign
Use the 1 visitor, 1 campaign feature to prevent visitors from being included in multiple campaigns simultaneously. When enabled, each visitor participates in only one campaign, based on the first eligible campaign encountered during their journey. This helps avoid overlap in results across campaigns. For more information, learn how to Configure One-Visitor-One-Campaign for Wingify Testing
Define the Thresholds for a Variation
While setting up a test campaign, you can define the threshold for winning variation, losing variation, and visitors required to calculate winner/loser variation. This is applicable for Multivariate testing and Personalization campaigns. To know more, refer to How Does Wingify Calculate the Chance to Beat.
Configure Observatory Mode
Observatory mode ensures that your campaign collects a sufficient amount of data before Wingify begins calculating statistics and declaring a winner. This feature helps you safeguard your test results from premature conclusions. For more information, refer to Configure Observatory Mode in Your Testing Campaigns
Enable notifications
Once you enable the notifications on the campaign settings page, you will receive a push notification whenever your campaign declares a winner. To learn about configuring notifications in Wingify, refer to Scheduled Notifications In Wingify Engage.
Note: It is recommended that you do not opt-in for push notifications on shared/public devices to avoid exposing your campaign data.
Integrate with third-party tools
Wingify provides one-click integration with various third-party products. For example, to identify sessions where a visitor was part of a Wingify test in your analytics tool, Wingify can tag that user with the test details. To know about the third-party integrations supported by Wingify, refer to CMS Integrations.
